Speech is the output of this language.

Modern studies indicate
70% of verbal language development in a child takes
place in 1st year of life and 95% by 3 years. After
6 years it is near impossible to develop verbal language.
Without verbal language there is no speech [output].
A child who is Dumb at
age 6 will continue to be dumb and will not be able
to develop verbal language and speech. Hence the urgent
need for early detection of hearing loss in a child,
to prevent dumbness.
